Town Hall meeting on Immigration Reform

FaithAction works closely with immigrants and refugees, and other community partners to work towards fair and humane treatment of immigrants, and for policy changes that ensure the dignity and rights of all of our new neighbors.

Some of our current focus includes

• Working with local immigrant religious leaders and local law enforcement toward better relations and humane policies
• Public vigils and letters of support for non-criminal immigrants under the unjust threat of detention and deportation
• Supporting DREAM Act and in-state tuition solutions for undocumented youth
• Know Your Rights presentations for the immigrant community
• Assistance with wage-theft and other employment-related discrimination
• Assistance with fair housing violations
