We offer numerous immigration and diversity trainings for faith communities, student groups, and social service agencies including:
- The Story of America as an Immigrant Country
- Immigration 101 in North Carolina
- Telling your own Stranger to Neighbor Story
- Building Interfaith and Multicultural Cooperation
- Developing your moral voice on issues related to immigration and diversity
- Immigration and Diversity Leadership Skills
We also provide a unique half-day seminar entitled, Serving Latinos, which is primarily designed for social service agencies working with Latinos. The three-part training includes:
- Understanding demographic shifts in NC, and addressing myths and stereotypes behind our newest wave of immigrants
- Understanding the complexity and dynamics of Latino culture, and exploring best practices for service to Latinos
- Outreach to the Latino community, and legal and non-profit resources for Latinos
