Immigrant Assistance and Resource Centers

We serve over 100 new immigrants and refugees each month through our Immigrant Assistance and Resource Centers to help our newest neighbors on the pathway to self sufficiency, citizenship and greater community involvement.  Our services include assistance with food, shelter, furniture, healthcare, and post-high school education opportunities.   We work with our many community partners to ensure basic needs are met, and opportunities for development are found.

We also provide professional legal services at very low cost.  Our case-work includes:

  • Citizenship
  • Renewal of Green Cards
  • Adjustment of Status
  • Family Petitions
  • U and VAWA Visas
  • Temporary Protected Status
  • Legal referrals for other cases (family, employment, etc….)

For an appointment, call Immigrant Assistance Center Director, Marina Castillo Gomez at 336-379-0037, ext 6#.

We additionally have a new computer lab, where we provide computer literacy, job readiness, and financial management assistance!
Our open hours for the Immigrant Assistance and Resource Centers are:

Tuesdays and Thursdays – 2-6pm
Wednesdays – 9-1pm
